Marginalizing the Marginalized.

The day before I was looking at the Catholic news services online and came across an article about a theological conference on the laity in the Church. The main outcome of the conference was a call to stop the clergy dominating the Church and stop the marginalization of the laity, whose dignity as members of the Church should be accepted and recognized. Unfortunately it seems the conference itself was unable to practice what it preached, because of the sixty five attendees only seven were from among the laity. That's a little less than 1 in 10.
